2010 High School Senior Scholarship
AADC is once again offering a scholarship for Auburn Area High School Seniors. The scholarship this year is $1,000.
The deadline for submission is March 31, 2010.

Requirements:
-
Be a graduating senior planning to attend college in the fall of 2010. (Proof of college registration required before funds will be disbursed.)
- Submit two letters of recommendation from a counselor, teacher, high school administrator or other sponsoring adult. The letters should tell about the applicant’s participation in activities that support the values and goals of the Democratic Party such as Equal Opportunity, Diversity, Commitment to the Bill of Rights and the Rights of Privacy and Choice, Health Care for All, Care for the Environment, Educational Opportunity and a Living Wage.
- Submit One of the following:
A 1000 Word Essay, a Slide Show, a Short Film or Multimedia Presentation on a topic of importance to the Democratic Party such as:
Participating in a Campaign or the Election Process
Promoting Diversity, Equal Opportunity and Tolerance
Supporting the Bill of Rights
Supporting the Rights of Privacy and Choice
Assuring Health Care as a Right not a Privilege
Protecting our Environment and Averting Global Warming
